// "The Oread Express" returns to SWP Radio
SWP Radio has announced plans to produce new episodes of its inaugural podcast, "The Oread Express," for the first time since 2007. SWP Executive Producer Scott Winer made the announcement Friday during Episode #14 of "Smokey and the Bear."
The show will mark the return of frequent collaborator Fred Davis to SWP. "Fred has been captured and is being held against his will in Columbia, Missouri," Winer said Friday. Davis, who Winer described as "a die hard KU guy," recently moved to the home of the Jayhawks' border rival after serving as a crime reporter for The Topeka Capitol-Journal and The Beaumont Enterprise.
Like the original, Winer and Davis will host the show, except Winer will be in SWP Radio's Lawrence studio while Davis will appear weekly by phone.
"The Oread Express" is expected to premiere later this month. Scott Winer is the producer.
